What a Texas Public Adjuster Does
A Public Adjuster (PA) is a licensed insurance professional who exclusively represents the policyholder, the homeowner or business owner, in property damage claims. From documentation to negotiation, we handle every aspect of the claim to protect your rights and maximize your settlement.
Think of us like a CPA during tax season. You wouldn’t deal with the IRS alone, so why face your insurance company without expert representation?

Why You Need a Public Adjuster in Texas

In Texas, insurance companies increasingly:

⭕ Discourage policyholders from filing valid claims

⭕ Minimize damage severity based on photos or phone calls

⭕ Underpay or deny claims based on improper technicalities

Most policyholders don’t fully understand their policy, coverage limits, exclusions, or “Duties After a Loss.” Even a small error can allow the insurance carrier to legally underpay your claim or deny it altogether.
A Public Adjuster ensures:

⭕ All documentation is handled correctly from Day 1

⭕ The carrier complies with Texas law and policy language

⭕ You receive the maximum payout allowed under your policy

Types of Insurance Claims We Handle

Jason Dye specializes in both residential and commercial property claims, including:

Water Damage Claims

Water damage isn’t always obvious, but it can be just as destructive. Jason assists with claims involving pipe bursts, appliance failures, slab leaks, AC overflows, and sewage backups. These losses often involve hidden moisture that impacts walls, floors, and contents. Jason helps ensure the full scope of damage is identified and documented so the claim is evaluated accurately.

    Mold Claims

Mold coverage is often limited or excluded, and many property owners are unsure what their policy actually provides. If mold coverage applies, Jason can help guide the claim process and ensure it is properly documented. If your mold-related claim has been denied, Jason can review the policy and claim handling to help determine whether it was handled correctly and if coverages do exist.

      Fire & Smoke Damage Claims

A fire doesn’t just destroy property, it disrupts lives. Jason manages partial and total fire loss claims, including structural damage, smoke migration into wall cavities and HVAC systems, soot-affected contents, and odor remediation. With multiple parties and complex policy language often involved, Jason works to ensure the full scope of damage is accurately documented and evaluated so no covered damage is overlooked.

        Storm & Hail Claims

Texas storms can be severe, and damage is not always visible from the ground. Jason represents property owners with hail and wind losses that include roofing damage, water intrusion, cracked skylights, broken windows, siding impacts, and foundation movement caused by wind-driven rain. Jason advocates for a complete and accurate evaluation of storm damage so covered losses are not overlooked or undervalued.

          Roofing Claims

Roof claims are one of the most commonly disputed areas of property insurance. Jason represents property owners with hail and wind damage, including lifted shingles, punctured membranes, damaged flashing and vents, and structural roof impacts. When roofing claims are delayed, underpaid, or denied, Jason works to ensure the scope of damage is accurately documented so appropriate repair or replacement options are considered where supported by the evidence.

Claim Denials, Underpayments & Mishandled Claims

If you’ve already filed a claim but feel the process stalled or the outcome doesn’t reflect the damage, Jason can help. Whether an adjuster stopped responding, payments fell short, or coverage decisions lacked clarity, Jason reviews the claim file, conducts re-inspections when needed, and works to address claims that may warrant reconsideration or supplementation.

              How It Works

              1. Free Initial Consultation

Tell us what happened. We’ll review your current situation and evaluate whether you have a strong claim.

              2. Full Representation

We take over all communications with the insurance company, collect evidence, create estimates, document damages, and file everything required.

              3. Claim Settlement

We work to ensure the claim is evaluated based on the full scope of covered damage, in accordance with the policy, and that all “Duties After a Loss” are properly met. If legal action is required, the claim documentation is organized and ready for legal counsel without delay.

              Fees: Simple and Success-Based

              • Standard Fee: 10% of the final claim settlement amount
              • No Retainers. No Hourly Billing.
              • You Win, We Win: We’re only paid when you’re paid
              • Performance Commitment: If Jason is unable to achieve a material improvement to the insurance carrier’s original estimate, defined as an increase of 20% or more, no fee is owed.
This structure is often more affordable than hiring an attorney and can be especially effective when applied early in the claims process. If legal counsel ultimately becomes necessary, your claim file and documentation are already thoroughly prepared, helping streamline the transition and save time.

              Ideal Clients We Serve

You may need a Public Adjuster if:
              • You were told your damage isn’t worth filing
              • Your claim was denied, delayed, or underpaid
              • You feel overwhelmed, confused, or pressured
              • You’re a commercial property owner with roof, mold, or water damage
              • You want a second opinion before accepting the insurer’s offer
Don’t risk your financial future, hire a licensed advocate to protect it.
